Happy Rotary New Year!
 
State Representative Holly Raschein, a Key Largo Rotarian, recently installed 11 club members to the 2018-19 board of directors who will BE THE INSPIRATION to do good in Key Largo.

The Rotary Club of Key Largo has new leaders for the year beginning July 1.

Club president Jennifer McComb was installed to office at a district event at the Tower Club in Fort Lauderdale. A club member for five years, Jennifer was elected to office after various committee roles including past chair of the Take Stock in Children Backcountry Challenge. She serves on the board of the Ocean Reef Chamber of Commerce. Jennifer works at the Florida Keys Children’s Shelter, and has held leadership positions with the Ocean Reef Community Foundation, Good Health Clinic, and United Way of the Florida Keys.

State Representative Holly Raschein, a Key Largo Rotarian, installed the board of directors at an event held at the Caribbean Club on July 1. Elected officers include vice president Laura Lietaert, secretary Dan Cornell, and immediate past president Dennis Caltagirone who will serve on the board for another full year. Board members are Henry Menendez, joining for his first term, and returning directors Dr. James Boilini, Don Fanelli. Jennifer Miller, John Stuart, Bob Thomas, and Isis Wright.

Among those attending the event were Drew Monaghan, 2018-19 district governor of South Florida and the Bahamas who oversees 47 clubs, Marathon Mayor Michele Coldiron, and Upper Keys Rotary Club president Terry Abel and vice president Joe Roth.
