Update from County Dept

John Allen is the Director of Parks and Beaches for Monroe County.   He is a Certified Parks and Recreation Professional and a graduate from the University of West Florida with a degree in Recreation Management.   Before moving to the Keys, John worked at different parks and recreation departments throughout Florida and Tennessee.  During his free time, John enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, golfing and officiating football.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Health, Leisure, and Sports from the University of West Florida.
